Stephen Fry is god
Ok ,what would you do if one of the people you admire the most , a hero, someone you had grown up your whole life exposed to and followed their career closely say a mucisican or writer or lets say a certain actor who had i dont know starred in movies that mean a lot more that movies should came to your town..........yes yes i happened to me about 4 months ago!
I dont know if you know a young actor called Rupert Grint a.k.a Ronald Weasley from the Harry Potter series well he was in my town yes my little village playing golf in a place 1 minute from my school with no ordinary friends no he was playing with the actors who play Fred and George think their names are James and Oliver. 3 stars of Harry Potter -which has kinda sorta been a big thing in my life for i dont know the last 12 or so years- one minute away from me , in my town and ...... i never met them.
I was told by my little sister the FOLLOWING day that her friends walked past the golf club saw them and got a picture with Rupert whilst james or oliver took the photo!!!

The sun is out but I'm in school :/ o well I'm just happy its finally spring/summery outside :) I have to agree with one of meadows blogs that floral reoccur every spring and I think we should rebel. Its all about cosy,edgey and chic... Why should black be taken out our wardrobes, add a bit to a cute look to give it a more interesting twist. You'll stand out in doing so and people may follow your confidence.

mothers day
well after being at work for 9 hours today and dealing with grumpy old people and their daughters/sons/grand children i finally got to spend time with my mum :) and i was a lovely daughter and took her to the cinema to see lovely bones which i must say was emotionally draining indeed. it was so odd, like one minute really creepy then the next i was crying my heart out. apparantly (according to my mum) its very different to the book but still id call it one worth seeing! now i want to see alice in wonderland :) as i have a strong love for the story as i was the white rabbit in year 4 in primary school and its one of my most loved memories of where i used to live....which i do miss quite often. one of them things where you wonder what your life would be like without the change. and to be honest i think it would be worse if id of stayed there. o well....
saturday was a good day too :) i went shopping and it was very productive apart from not actually buying the things i needed, so im still in a pickle over that. i do have a problem when it comes to spending money :/
im also very jealous of meadow who has done textiles coursework this weekend, i was meant to but just didnt in the end. i hate it when that happens and you completely go against your plans. im terrible at it, id say its one of my many weak points.

amazing day....
Guten nacht
today would best be explained in a list to be honest...
1)...meadow you are hilarious :'')
2)im not sure about head girl anymore as our best friend is going up for it now so i dont want any competition that wil make us fall out aha
3) maybe just a prefect (a prefect is a person who just does jobs around school, wears a badge and it looks good on uni applications etc) plus im proud to be at my school, i actually enjoy it:)
4)i went to see my friend in a billy elliot production at her school and she was amazing, i cried a few times :')
5)the sun was out
6)we have the best apples in (yes the red delicious ones)
7)i love driving around in my friends yellow panda (Percy)
8) WE GOT OUR RESULTS!!

CRACKBOOK (Move over Kelis!)
I dont know if many of you bloggers, blog readers etc, use Facebook but me and Lola certainley do and it is a serious social networking disease infecting not only teenagers but everybody of every age and yes even my mum has an account (though i dont think she knows how to switch the actual computer on.)
Now i enjoy facebook its simple to use , a great place to share photos and get in contact with everyone you know but something has started that has to stop and that is the current obession of joining ridiculous groups on facebook .
They stem from the rather nostalgic 'Join this group if when you were little a freddo cost 10 p' to really odd ' If this group gets 25,000 members i will turn my house into a pirate ship' or ' if this group get 10,000 fans i will go on britains got talent naked' even ny brother jumped when his friends created a group for him ' if 2,000 members join will change my name to Drew Peacock'. Yes he is an 7 year old stuck in 18 year olds body.
Now even though they annoy me there is one trend of facebook groups that is to me and Lola very funny and that is the re makes of the Kelis song ' my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard'
Here's our version,

I have just read Lola's :) post and it filled me with so much inspiration - god i hate that word - i felt i must retaliate.I think i am now declaring a blogging arms race...Its war mate. No, i joke i joke anywaysss..
Because i think -fingers crossed- we can offically say winters over now and spring is upon us we can discuss the seasons key looks etc.
I am soooo bored of every year spring meaning floral , light ,bright colours and fabrics. I think we should revolt i think we should remain in our dark hibernation coloursand follow the stylings of the goths. Lace has really been overdone and i am going to admit i loved it but im thinking tribal patterns and any of the wacky bright variety might be this seasons key themes.
But also everyone is liking the nudes and i know Lola is a fan of nudes and even though i might be contridicting myself here saying i am bored of light colours in spring but the nudes pieces have seen actually look quite fresh and really COOL.
Yeah 6 weeks incuding this till textiles courseworks D Dayaghhh probably should have done some tonight but yeah... lets just say procastination is my religion now.

my fellow blogger, queen of the pesimists (meadow) has already introduced herself, as for my i'm lola (the blogger 'filled with light and joy'-but not so much this week). what is there to say really... welcome to our hectic world...textiles deadline is 6 weeks away and results are tomorrow :
As meadow has already mentioned the thought of making the blog came from todays general studies lesson whilst we were meant to be looking at universities.

-i desperately want to redecorate my room

i currently wish that alexander wang would turn up on my doorstep and help me with this coursework, it would be deeply helpful. but i know that once all this work and exams are over im in for the summer of my life:) 2 festivals (oxegen and leeds) and 3 weeks in austrailia and hongkong :O words cant describe how excited i am....

at the moment im stuck here daydreaming and waiting, oh well i have meadow who brightens up each painful college day that we endure. at least its the good side of the week though, end of the week = textiles and then the weekend
im going to have to love you and leave you world...

I was guessing I should say welcome or hello , a greeting of some sort to introduce our first blog so i settled on the beauty of the japanese language ... which i am trying to and will one day master.
This blog page... is it called a page? Please inform me of the actual word used as i am very limited in any cool hip technology jargon already.Lets just say I didnt know a blackberry was a phone until a few months ago.ANYWAY this blog is a collaborative effort between 2 very immature 17 year old girls.
Our ideas for this blog happened today in our general studies class, which could be classified as torture basically 2 hours once a week of our precious teenage lifes we will never get back but OH NO! NOT TODAY! We decided to take a grasp of our futures and create this amazing space most probably wasting yet more hours of our precious teenage years but in the hope to discover like minded people in which to conserve to and most likely to complain to.
We really want or blog page to mainly focus on fashion,trends,clothes etc.As we are both Textiles students in Britain as well as being teenagers in Britans lets just say the art that is fashion is relatively important to us.
However we also plan to discuss other things such as books, films,products, generally everthing and anything we like or ..hate , which in some cases might be the topic for a lot of blogs as i am quite possibly Queen of the Pesimists but the alternate blogs will probably be filled with light and joy.
I will now let you continue living your lifes and do applaud you if you got this far through that waffle and wandering stream of conscinous which apparently is my attempt to blog.But i will go now my i key is sticking and i am in need for some orange squash.
